Pakistan all rounder Abdul Razzaq will play for Leicestershire (the English county which has recently won Friends Life T20 domestic tournament) in the qualifying rounds of the Champions League in India from 19th September 19 – 9th October.
The 31 year old said that he is very much excited to play in India and he will take a message of good will for Indian people.
Razzaq who has played 262 One Day Internationals for Pakistan also said that government of both the countries should negotiate to resume the most high profile cricket series between two neighbouring countries (Pakistan and India).
Razzaq will become only the second Pakistani to play in the Champions League after Yasir Arafat, who represented Sussex in the first year of the tournament in 2009.
