Quetta: Target killing and multiple firing incident in the city leaves at least nine people including a policeman dead and several injured, 10 platoons of the Frontier Constabulary have been deployed citing the deteriorating law and order situation in the city.
Meanwhile, the firing and disturbing incidents all over the city has halted the economic activities and business life is abandoned, the shops have gone shut all around the city and the paths along the city are deserted.
Police officials held the view that the same group is behind the recent multiple violent attacks in the city and a new security plan has been prepared to control the worsening situation of sectarian killings in the provincial capital.
According to the media reports, seven persons were assassinated in a firing incident on a car by some unidentified armed persons at Barori road while one was killed and wounded at Subzil road. Some unidentified armed terrorists shot one policeman dead in Shalkot area and fled the scene.
The victims (both injured and dead) were shifted to Bolan Medical Complex where angry protestors of Hazara Community shouted slogans against the government and set the spot on fire. After that the relatives of the victims took off the dead bodies from the hospital.
