KarachI: A three-day Urs celebrations of the Sufi saint Lal Shahbaz Qalandar is being held in Sehwan from today (Monday). The festival was inaugurated by Acting Governor Sindh Nisar Ahmed Khohro who laid the floral wreath on the shrine.
The officials have made full proof security arrangement in order to carry out the event in a peaceful manner. CCTV cameras have been installed to monitor the crowd and avoid any unpleasant incident.
Meanwhile, local holiday has been called today in Jamshoro district by the deputy commissioner to commemorate the Urs of the Sufi saint with pure respect and reverence. Thousands of devotees have adhered here from each and every corner of the country in order to participate in the annual event.
