Faisalabad: Judge of Apex Anti Terrorism court number 1 Ishtiaq Ahmed on Monday has convicted two culprits alleged of violence and throwing acid on girls in Ghulam Mohammadabad.According to the details, the judge on conviction sentenced both Kashif (aka kaashi) and Irshaad 70 year imprisonment and a fine of four and a half million rupees under different acts. Upon non payment of the fine both have to face further imprisonment of eight years and three months.
According to the prosecution the culprits threw acid on four workers Uzma, Nazia, Nida and Farah who were returning to their homes from Hozri factory on 18th February.
As a result of the acid all the girls were severely affected and burnt. Meanwhile, the third accused of the incident has been set free by the court.
