ISLAMABAD: The preparations for hanging up 55 terrorists across the country have been made after the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has lifted ban on the sentence of hanging up. According to a report, 522 people who have been sentenced for hanging up have been imprisoned in various jails of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan.
The report says that 11 of these people have been declared death penalty in military court through court-martial. 465 guilt persons are in Punjab Jails, 14 persons are in Sindh, 30 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 13 are in Baluchistan. They all are waiting for their death penalty as they have been involved in terrorism.
According to the sources of interior ministry, the appeals for 55 terrorists have been rejected by the supreme court of Pakistan and the president Mamnoon Hussain. It is pertinent to mention here that the decision to hang up the prisoners involved in terrorism have been made after the attack on Army Public School in which 141 including 132 children were martyred.
