Islamabad: To tackle the counter terrorism, a four Nation Coalition has been formed between Pakistan, China, Afghanistan and Tajikistan and provisions have been agreed on military cooperation.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) department, the opening session of the four Nation Military Cooperation group was held in the Chinese city of Urumqi in which the military leadership of Pakistan, China, Afghanistan and Tajikistan participated. Army Chief General Raheel Sharif represented Pakistan.
Statement released after the session stated that that all four members have agreed to conduct joint military exercised to build capacity against terrorism.
All participants expressed commitment and determination that all decisions were made with mutual consultation and consensus and agreed to the statement that the very forum was not against any country.
