Last year (2016) was the hottest year in the world since 1880, which was the year from which the data was stored. This was revealed by NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) and NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). Now they believe 2017 will be the hottest year.
[junkie-alert style=”green”] The average increase in the temperature from 20th century was 1.69 degrees, since 2001 each year was the hottest year in recorded human history. The increasing temperature means melting of ice in artic which results in increases sea levels. [/junkie-alert]
The higher temperature not only affects the sea level but also disrupts the weather and hot and cold air waves, resulting in more rains, floods, snow and in other areas droughts.
The change in temperature is caused by the increased industry growth which is resulting in pollution. The ozone layer which protected our planet from harmful rays is being destroyed because of this industrial pollution for which major economic powers are responsible such as USA, China, India and Brazil.
