Congo: The United Nations Security Council has condemned the attack on Pakistan Army soldiers in East Congo during an unusual meeting of Security Council held on the demand of Pakistan. The incident that took place on Monday was considered in the meeting.
The members of Security Council condemned the shelling on Pakistani soldiers in Congo and showed concern over the poor security situation of the country.
According to the spokesman of UN, 11 Pakistani soldiers got injured in the incident while two of them are in critical condition.
The offenders shoot out at the soldiers while hiding among the protestors. However, Pakistani peacekeepers did not retaliate to prevent casualties.
