The 10th International Urdu Conference is starting in Karachi from 21st December 2017. The event will be held in Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi and will last for 5 days, ending on 25th December. It is an international conference on the national language of Pakistan where international delegates from India & England will also take part.
This year theme of the conference will be on Pakistan’s 70th Independence day including a special session about ‘Quaid-e-Azam ka Pakistan’. Other sessions will include poetry, fiction, criticism & qawwali.
One of the most awaited session will be of famous artist Zia Mohyeddin reading excerpts from renowned writers such as Mushtaq Ahmed Yousufi, Abu Muhammad and Farid Ayaz.

Last year the 9th International Urdu Conference was held between 1st to 4th December 2016 in which noted scholars from UK, India, Canada, Iran and other parts of the world presented their thesis and work.
Just like last year it is expected that dozens of noted scholars, writers & intellectuals from several countries will take part in this international conference.
